Brainautics makes patient-specific coil-to-head interfaces and clinical targeting tools for transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Each hardware interface is planned from a 3D optical head scan or MRI of one person and 3D-printed so that the coil sits in the planned position, at the planned angle, every time it is put on. It carries the result of neuronavigation — the planned coil pose — into settings that have no navigation system on site.
The company was founded by Dr. Arkadii Grygorian, a psychiatrist who started the project in his TMS clinic in 2019, and is headquartered in Linz, Austria. Its products were previously known as Multistim and Helm-T. The approach is protected by granted Austrian Patent AT 527771; international, US, and European patent applications are pending.
