Regulatory status. Brainautics hardware interfaces are currently supplied for research use. They are not CE-marked, and they have not been cleared or approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). We make no claims about their safety or effectiveness in the treatment of any condition.
Accuracy figures. Values such as the 0.5 mm repeat-placement figure are engineering design targets, not measured clinical results. Formal validation data comparing repeat placement against optical neuronavigation will be published on our Research & Evidence page when available.
TMS is a medical procedure. Transcranial magnetic stimulation must be prescribed and delivered by qualified professionals following established safety guidelines and the instructions of the stimulator manufacturer.
Children and adolescents. For most conditions, including autism, TMS in children and adolescents is still being studied and is mainly offered within research studies. Families should discuss any treatment or study with their child's doctor.
