What is Brainautics?

Brainautics makes patient-specific coil-to-head interfaces for TMS (Patent AT 527771, Linz). Planned from a head scan or MRI and 3D-printed so the coil sits in the planned pose every time it is put on.

How is it different from a neuronavigation system?

Optical neuronavigation tracks the coil and head with cameras during the session. Brainautics builds the planned coil pose into a physical guide, so no tracking camera is needed in the treatment room.

What is the free TargetStudio™ Beam F3 Pro Calculator?

Our free 3D Beam F3 Pro Calculator computes F3, F4, Fz, FCz & M1 with Cephalic Index (Dolicho/Brachy) adjustment, P5–P95 percentiles, Stokes depth formula & PDF export.

Which TMS coils are supported?

The coil seat is built from the outline of your coil, including MagVenture (figure-8 and cooled), Magstim, NeuroStar, and Deymed. Tell us your model to confirm.

What do you need from us and how do I order?

Send an MRI-based head model or an optical 3D head scan to p•••@brainautics.com . You receive a patient-specific STEP CAD model (or printed guide). For pricing, contact a•••@brainautics.com .

Is it CE-marked or FDA-cleared?

Not yet. Brainautics interfaces are currently supplied for research use. They are not CE-marked and not FDA-cleared, and we make no claims about clinical outcomes. Clinics can join our early-access list.

How accurate is it?

Our mechanical design target for repeat placement is 0.5 mm. A validation study against optical neuronavigation is in preparation and results will be published on the Research & Evidence page.

Can it be used with children or autistic patients?

TMS in children and autism is mainly studied in research protocols. Because a head-mounted interface moves with the head, researchers value it for participants who have difficulty sitting still.

Why is it useful for multi-session daily protocols?

In accelerated schedules (such as multi-session daily iTBS), re-measuring scalp marks or trackers at every visit takes time. A physical guide returns the coil to the planned seat without recalibration.

What happened to Helm-T and Multistim?

They were earlier names of the same products (2019–2025). Since 2026 the company and its products go by Brainautics (Linz, Austria).
